About the Institute
In the 20th Century, there have been intense destruction, human suffering, and genocide caused by World War I and World War II, and by conflicts on the African continent. Moi Africa Institute was established to study those experiences, to support dialogue, and to work for development that reduces the conditions of conflict.
MAIN brings together research, public lectures and field visits. The Institute is constituted under a memorandum and articles of association, with a Board of Directors drawn from the initial subscribers.
