The Institute will undertake
health programmes with emphasis on mother and child. In
situations of conflicts and humanitarian disasters, the
responsibility of heading a family is often transferred
to either the women or children in communities.
The health programmes will also involve the prevention and
management of diseases. MAIN will focus on HIV/AIDS and
immunization programmes against such ailments like malaria
and measles. |
